Windows Phones compulsory update to 7.5

Any user of Microsoft Windows phone must update their phone to 7.5 if they want to use the Windows phone market place. Any Windows Phone users whose phone has not been upgraded to version 7.5 of the operating system will not be able access Microsoft’s Marketplace app store from today forth.

Most Windows phones have already been updated but if you own an older version of the Windows phones you will notice an error message when you try to download an application or update an already installed application on your mobile.

The Windows Phone 7.5 update is available for free and it is simple to install on devices. According to Mazhar Mohammad, Microsoft’s director of program Management; this update is part of an effort to make marketplace perform better and be more secure.
