BACARDI NH7 WEEKENDER to hit Pune on November 2nd



After deafening Delhi, multi-genre, multiple-stage music festival, the Bacardi NH7 Weekender is coming to Pune. Grab your black-T’s, comb up your long hairs, prepare your neck for the headbanging and get ready for the insane moshpits. Started in 2010, NH7 Weekender has become one of the most awaited music festivals of India. The festival is a 3-day event starting on November 2. Best music and musicians from India and across the world will make you go frenzy and leave you mesmerized and neck-broken.

Each stage will feature a different genre of music and experience. There’s dance and electronica at Eristoff Wolves Den, world, folk and eclectic music at The Dewarists Stage and rock and metal at the Bacardi Black Rock Arena – with a lot more to come.

The 2011 edition saw performances by Imogen Heap, Basement Jaxx, King Creosote, The Raghu Dixit Project, Indian Ocean, Motherjane, Zero, Shaa’ir + Func, Reggae Rajahs and The Weekender All-Stars amongst others.

The 2012 edition is ready to enthrall you with performances by Adam & the fish eyed poets, Heems (Das Racist), Kailasa, Karnivool, Driving Lolita, Thermal and a quarter, The Supersonics, Seun Kuti and the Egypt 80.Dj Nihal presents Bombay Bronx, The Raghu Dixit project, Swarathma, Pentagram, Gandu Circus, Vir Das’ Alien Chutney, Swanand+Shantanu, Indus creed, Bombay metal project and many others lined up. Each of them has been categorized according to the genres and will be performed at different stages.

The festival is going to be held at Amanora Park Town, Pune.

You can book the tickets online or get them offline in specified stores. The whole 3-day ticket costs Rs.3000 (for all stage entry) and Rs.1499 for people under age 21. There are different options available for single day tickets which are of Rs.1000 for the first day and Rs. 1500 for day 2 and same for the day 3. The weekend ticket for Nov 3rd and 4th costs Rs.2500.

The NH7 Weekender is then lined up for Bengaluru on Dec 15th and 16th. So quickly book your tickets and gear up for the real action of music.
