5 Steps to Everyday Make Up

Before leaving home everyday whether for a casual or a formal occasion, our first concern is, “how do I look?” This question is easily settled by some men by looking clean and smart while most men do not care at all. But for women, it is the biggest concern. No matter how much you talk about “inner beauty” and “loving yourself the way you are” the fact remains that looks make the first impression. But with so little time in hand, how do you look beautiful every day?

Here are 5 easy steps for that:

Clean up routine: no matter how little time you have or how tired you feel, do not forget to clean your face before going to bed. In the morning waking up with dull and tired looking skin will not help the makeup process. So before going to bed cleanse, tone and moisturize your skin. A moisturizer is necessary even for oily skin.

Base: start your make up by mixing some foundation and sunscreen together. This helps in preventing an extra caked up look as well as saves time. It acts as your primer or base.

Concealer: apply a concealer stick or liquid concealer on dark circles or blemishes. Never rub the concealer, just pat it as if you are pushing it into your skin. Set it up with powder. If you do not have time for all this you can apply more amount of sunscreen on marks you want to cover up and conceal with powder. But of course it will not give you the same effect as the above mentioned steps.

Eyes: there are a number of things you can do to highlight your eyes. (If they are not the best feature of your face then maybe you will not highlight them at all). For everyday purpose first use a liner on the upper and bottom lid. It is better to use a gel eye liner than a liquid or wax one because if you have hands that shake like a leaf while applying liner, liquid liner will waste your time rather than saving it. And wax ones will just melt into your skin after a while. You can use mascara and an eyelash curler as well. A thick layer of mascara can save the need of applying liner. Use an eye shadow that suits your skin tone. However this is more recommendable for party make up. But eye shadow applied in the right amount can add class to your looks.

Lips: like your skin, your lips need a primer too. Any sort of lip color looks ugly on dry lips. So apply a lip balm. You can use a lip liner the same color as your lipstick. In the mornings, especially for office, warm and creamy shades look better than brighter shades. The trick is to choose a color that is close to your natural lip color, not more than two to three shades darker. Lip gloss in nude shades is also a good idea.

The best way to look beautiful everyday is however, to stay cheerful. Feel good, look good. With a gloomy mood, even all the make up in the world can help you.
