Auditoriums in Pune reflect the rich cultural inclination of residents of the city. All the auditoriums hold a number of events round the year. Cultural events, dance shows, musical concerts, exhibitions, seminars, discussions etc. all are very frequently organised in the city. There is no lack of entertainment in Pune. Here is a list of ten popular auditoriums in Pune:

Nehru memorial hall: Recognised for one of its finest auditoriums, Nehru Memorial Hall has quite a big stage and a spacious hall. It is near SGS Mall, Camp. There are quite a number of restaurants in the vicinity. From plays to music concerts, Nehru Memorial Hall holds a number of events.

Bal Gandharva Rang Mandir: Bal Gandharva Rang Mandir is one of the most famous theatres in Pune city. It has auditoriums also. It is located in Shivaji Nagar. It is a popular place for lovers of Indian culture. Bal Gandharva Rang Mandir also rent out the auditoriums to various organisations.

Sudarshan Hall: This auditorium is in Shaniwar Peth near Ahilyavadi school. It has a seating capacity of nearly 400 people. It is famous for conducting music shows, dance shows and various other cultural programmes. It is available on rent for cultural functions.

Tilak Smarak Mandir: This is in Sadashiv Peth. Tilak Smarak Mandir holds exhibitions and cultural events regularly. With ample amount of parking space, it has air-conditioned halls. They also rent out auditoriums to various “sansthas”.

Ganesh Kala Kreeda: This was built in 1995 at the cost of several crores so as to promote cultural needs in the city.  It has seating capacity of 2800 people. Pune Festival of 2010 was held here. Ganesh Kala Kreeda didn’t have permission to hold cultural events for two years but the ban was lifted in 2010.

Bhartiya Natya Sanshodhan Mandir: This is located in Sadashiv Peth. Along with cultural programmes, it is popular for holding discussions and seminars. It has a seating capacity of 800 people. The stage is also big enough with the dimension of 30 feet * 24 feet. They are involved in cultural, social and educational activities.

Moreshwar hall: With a seating capacity of around 800 people, it is known for holding cultural events regularly. It is on Kothrud. You can also hold parties and other events too. However, you will have to book it before hand.

Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Sanskrutik Bhavan: From the view point of entertainment, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Sanskrutik Bhavan is one of the best in the city. It organises Hindi plays, Marathi plays, English plays and dramas along with dances and musical concerts. It is located in Mangalwar Peth.

Pimpri-Chinchwad Prekshagriha: This also organises cultural events regularly. It has a big centralised stage with a seating capacity of 1200 people. It is situated in Jeevan Nagar in Pimpri-Chinchwad area.

Yashwantrao Chavan Natyagriha: It is located on Karve Road near the famous Shivaji Statue. It organises all types of events including dance, music concerts, exhibitions, seminars etc.
